Executive Officer Positions
President• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the group, including all events and activities
• Leading executive and general meetings • Being the official representative for UMASA • Forwarding information from the anthropology department to members Vice President, Undergraduate• Assisting the President and other members with events and projects
• Reaching out to undergraduate students • Attending undergraduate program meetings • Organizing an annual colloquium |
Vice President, Graduate• Assisting the President and other members with events and projects
• Reaching out to graduate students • Acting as a Department Council representative • Attending graduate program meetings Treasurer• Managing the UMASA bank account
• Planning the yearly budget • Producing a monthly financial report • Designing and ordering UMASA merchandise |
Vice President, Graduate - UMGSA Liaison• Assisting the President and other members with events and projects
• Acting as a liaison between UMGSA and UMASA • Attending UMGSA meetings • Completing various funding applications and annual reports Social and Fundraising Director• Planning social events and activities

Outreach Coordinator• Reaching out to high school students with information about anthropology to increase enrollment in the anthropology department

Indigenous Representative• Advocating for the interests and needs of UMASA's Indigenous members
• Acting as a liaison between student community groups and UMASA • Organizing events and activities that reflect the interests and needs of UMASA's Indigenous members |
